Scrooge of Peebles was one of my favourite pantomimes to be involved with, I played scrooge, the story was full of local references to neighbouring towns and local people which always raises a laugh or a boo, the songs were fantastic and up beat which again gets the audience involved and reacting, the highlight for me was the love of Scrooge's life came back into his life at the end, this was special for me as we persuaded my wife to have the cameo part and didn't tell all our friends, a great shock for them. The writing of this pantomime was superb along with choice of songs and dances with just the right amount of humour, overall a fantastic production .
